<i>JPP&amp;M</i>'s Global Perspective and Impact: An Agenda for Research on Marketing and Public Policy

For several decades, the Journal of Public Policy &amp; Marketing ( JPP&amp;M) has stimulated and led debates with far-reaching implications for consumer well-being, global relationships, and, ultimately, human survival. The challenges we face have not disappeared but intensified. Today, must respond to climate change, manage a pandemic, address disparities inequities that threaten our planet in ways are yet comprehend fully. However, JPP&amp;M community remains well placed inform responses these crises. This article draws together perspectives on new long-standing questions challenges, as it highlights increasing urgency addressing embedding sustainability at heart policy making. Although progress complex often been slow, authors also identify compelling opportunities form sound policies good marketing consumption practices response health crises, environmental degradation, injustice, automation, violence, war. transformational benefits following constructive engagement offer hope that, even when faced unprecedented resilience ingenuity can create meaningful responses.
